HISTORY OF THE COLLECTION

The inspiration for my Egyptian fabric and wallpaper collection came from the sheer impact of entering Queen Nefertari's tomb whilst on holiday in Egypt.

I was struck by the vibrancy of colour and detailed artwork that in the small confines was all encompassing yet not encroaching.

Having been in the soft furnishing business with the outstanding Fiona Campbell and then under my own name; my thoughts ran to what amazing wallpaper this sort of design would make. Knowing nothing of this nature was on the market, so began my quest to fill the void myself.

Thanks to my first line of support from David Jamison Prints, seeing scope in my sketches, and suggestions from friends came to Surface Print Co. where the sheer brilliance of Keith Fenton and team for colour co-ordination the wallpaper came to fruition; and at Ivo Prints the ingenuity of Daniel Croyle in fabric production the collection became complete.
